TOPIC: Ashtabula county, Ahiya

Ashtabula county, Ahiya 4 years, 3 months ago #453

Up here in the northeastern corner of Ahiya, we have 90% rural roads, the paved roads being generally good to great in surface, some hills, curves, covered bridges, oil wells, and lots of secretive nooks and crannies for the occasional \"breaktime\".

The cops don't seem to care, been riding around here for almost a year and a couple thousand miles with no hassles.

Look's beautiful Joe, not used to seeing all that green plant life from here in the SouthWest. Look's like my double suspension bike would have worked great on those roads, too bad I sold it. How's the riding in the winter?
I'm not sure where Ashtabula is, but it sure look's like Michigan to me were I have family.

Post edited by: fairracing31, at: 2007/10/22 18:49

I'm up in the northeastern corner of the state. Winter riding is for the hearty at heart and sometimes you can even enjoy it.

I'm in the \"snowbelt\".

Thats a good pic Joe nice bike:) ... Im a sucker for that weathered kinda look or hue you might say... I know you said the cops don't go after ya but if they did it sure looks like you could set up a good dukes of hazzard scene.. you just need a big ramp!... you definitely will be picking rocks out of your hide though if you ever eat it on that stuff

Post edited by: mightymouse, at: 2008/05/01 11:15

Joe's rural dirt roads look better then some of our paved roads. I would take that road any day over some of the roads here in Tucson. I always check, and I'm surprised I have not cracked any frames yet.

That road is one of the real wide dirt roads 'round here. We have a LOT of one lane paved roads that have no ditches, they kinda look like the English \"Lanes\".

As for the cops....they are on \"budget constraints\" and I live in the \"south county\" area. They don't drive down here much since it would cost extra manpower and fuel.

G, that too bad...

Post edited by: Bikeguy Joe, at: 2008/05/01 18:14
