Maintenance, Break-in & Starting
Fuel Mixture / Gas:Oil Ratio is 20:1
Two stroke engines require a gasoline/oil mixture. During the break in period (1st 2 gallons of fuel) and after, the gas:oil ratio is kept at 20 parts gasoline to 1 part oil. Use a good quality motorcycle synthetic 2 stroke oil. This ratio is achieved by mixing about 7 ounces of synthetic 2 stroke oil with 1 gallon of gasoline. We suggest purchasing a fuel holding container and premixing the gas/oil mixture in that container versus mixing the gas/oil in a gas tank.
